Election Day-leave (13 Oct 2009) - Pdf Download

Hello folks,
I am a native to Haryana (Faridabad) and works for a organization based in New Delhi. On 13th October 2009 we have the state legislative election in Haryana so my question is that will i get the paid leave for casting my vote. I request you to provide the notification issued by the ECI(Election Commission of India). I think no employer can debarred the employee from his/her fundamental right of casting my vote. Pl do let me know what the GOI rules says.

Yes, you can have paid holiday for the same as per Haryana Govt. General Administration Department Notification.
