New HR Graduate in the US: How Can I Learn and Contribute to the HR Community?

I am in the US. I finished my HR management program from Phoenix College. For the past 8 months, I have been doing an internship at FOX 10 News in Phoenix, AZ, USA. I am here to learn more and help other HR professionals.

Hi,

I'm Shraddha, working in India's largest automobile company in the Training department. I'm a commerce graduate and have also completed Stenography. Previously, I worked as a Secretary to the HR Head. After his retirement, I was transferred to the Training department. This is my first time doing this type of job, and I am eager to develop myself so that I can provide valuable contributions to my employer, who compensates me. I hold a supervisory position.

What steps should I take? Please advise.

Hi, Pallavi... I'm Davinder from Punjab. I'm in the HR field, and I have 3 years of experience in HR services in both service and manufacturing areas. I have learned a lot from these two areas, but I want to transition into the core HR service area, which will provide me with a path for professional and economic growth. I am interested in learning about the HR generalist profile.

In my future plans, after two years, I aim to become an HR manager with the capabilities of an HR manager. By that time, I hope to have been offered many HR manager and assistant manager positions. Nice to know about you. Be confident in your field. I am sure you will achieve your goals. Do some research on managers' responsibility and skills needing to be developed. I usually do a lot of research on Google. That's how I learned a lot of things.

So, what are your weak points?

Nice to know about you, Deepak. As of now, I don't know much about job openings in India. I think it's better to stick to your job because of the recession, especially here in the US, which is very bad.

How is the market in Australia? How are IT jobs over there?
