Worried About Job Change Without a Previous Experience Letter? Here's My Dilemma and Need for Advice

Hareeshsingh
Hi,

I have one query. I put fake experience and got a job in a company. I worked hard and stayed there for almost 2 years. After that, they conducted a background verification and wrote negatively in the experience letter. Subsequently, I joined another company (it's already one and a half years over) and did not submit the experience letter. Now, I am looking for a job change. Will there be any problem if I don't provide the experience letter from my previous company? I can obtain my experience and release letter from my current company. What should I tell the next company if they request the previous experience letter?

Please help me. I am waiting for your valuable solution.

Hi Hareesh,

Generally, we provide the experience certificate from the last employer worked for (meaning the current job). So, hopefully, you have been honest. There was a heated discussion on submitting fake documents, which led to the termination of the person involved. Therefore, be honest in what you provide, and you will have nothing to fear. The old adage, "Truth always triumphs," holds true.

Hi Ramesh,

Thanks for your reply. I am afraid they might ask for previous experience and a reference letter. Do you think they will conduct a background check for the previous company?

Hi Hareesh,

Ramesh is correct. At the time of recruitment for an experienced person, generally, the company asks for the experience certificate from the last working company. So, don't worry and give your best.

I am also looking to switch jobs. If you can help me, please reply.
