Starting My Own HR Consulting Firm on a Budget: How Can I Make a Name in the Industry?

Due to a slowdown, I am leaving a well-known HR consulting company. Now, I am looking to start my HR consulting firm. What steps should I take to establish my firm's name in the industry with limited finances? Can anybody guide me?

I have experience as a freelance recruiter but am still looking for Business Associates who can provide their opinions on how one should proceed. It would be great if we could share our knowledge and support each other with our ventures. From my perspective, Client Acquisition is the most important aspect for success in the recruitment industry. If a firm can attract 5-10 clients and work on their requirements, it becomes easier to generate significant revenues right from the start.
