Struggling with Methodology for HR Accounting and Balanced Scorecard Dissertation? Need Guidance!

hrsatishd
Hi all,

I am working on my project about Human Resource Accounting and Balanced Scorecard. I need to write my dissertation, which should be around 16,000 words. As part of this, I plan to conduct research on the functionality of human resource accounting and explore the relationship between Balanced Scorecard and human resource accounting. My focus will mainly be on measuring non-financial items and analyzing the results in terms of their impact on returns. I am unsure about how to approach the methodology and conduct empirical tests. Can anyone please assist me with this?

Dear Satish,

The best way to go about it is to study what others have done in similar situations. The Research Register at Emerald: Welcome to Emerald is a useful website. Also, kindly read journal articles and write to the author(s).

Please also see my post on Research Methodology.

Have a nice day.

Thank you for your response. I'm following the same approach as you suggested, yet I still feel like I might be missing something. I am currently pursuing my Master's in International Accounting and Finance in Scotland (Edinburgh). Perhaps you are familiar with this location. I believe that the dissertation topic I have chosen will significantly benefit my career, especially since I have already completed my Master's in HRM in India. Thank you for your guidance. If possible, could you provide advice on the methodology? I am keen on conducting empirical tests but am struggling to find relevant information.

Thanks
