Stuck PF Transfer: How Can I Retrieve My Old PF Amount from the Mumbai Office?

Hi,

I submitted Form 13 for PF amount transfer in September 2008 from my old company to the new company. My old company completed all the required formalities in December 2008 and sent it to the concerned PF office. In September 2009, I submitted a PF withdrawal form to withdraw the amount from the new account as I had resigned from the new company (assuming that the old PF amount had been transferred to the new account). However, upon receiving the PF amount recently, I discovered that the old PF account amount has not been transferred yet.

I have reached out to my previous company, and they mentioned that they have completed all the necessary formalities and that the amount is currently with the Mumbai PF office. Can someone please advise me on how I can retrieve this amount now?

In such cases, it is always desirable to inquire personally from the concerned PF office. If you stay far from the PF Office, you may write to the Regional PF Commissioner for details.

Thank you very much for your reply. Please provide me with any contact details to write if you have any. Because currently, I'm in Chennai, but my PF account is with Mumbai Bandra. I have been trying to call them, but no one is responding properly.
