Creating an HR Manual for a Small Company: What Should I Include and Any Sample Guides?

I will be developing the HR Manual/Employee Handbook for my organization. It's a small private limited company, and this is the first time we are working on the manual. What are the points that one needs to keep in mind while designing the manual for the first time?

Could someone please share a sample HR manual for a small private limited company based in Bangalore, India?

You can add in the handbook your organization's history in short, then some regular rules and regulations, whom to meet in particular situations, and emergency phone numbers like the Fire Brigade, nearest police station, doctor, hospital, ESI hospitals, and ambulance.

You can also include the calendar as well as monthly planning sheets for individuals and any other information you deem necessary.

In the HR manual, you need to include all job profiles, categories, reporting structures, performance management system (PMS), organizational chart, transparent salary structure for all employees, company policies, and opportunities for improvement.
