Hi,

For the registration of a firm under the Shops and Establishment Act 1988, you need to have the particulars as mentioned below:

1) Type of the Office
2) Number of Employees
3) Salaries
4) Registration under government rules as per the policies based on state government
5) The Type of Business
6) Location Address proof
7) PAN Card of the Firm

You need to visit the labor officer under whose jurisdiction your office falls. They will check the details and provide you with the form free of cost, although there may be a charge of around 5k.

There is no provision in Tamil Nadu for the registration of any shop or establishment as per the TN Shops & Establishments Act, 1947.
