Aj1981
I am an MA Human Resource Management student with a CIPD postgraduate qualification and I need assistance with formulating 10 questions to ask the managers of ExxonMobil regarding how they evaluate the effectiveness of their training and development programs for my dissertation.

P.S. I would be grateful for your help and support. Thank you.

Dear Aj,

The most important aspect is to clarify your objective. Is it solely to evaluate the effectiveness of training and development, or does it extend to understanding how they would meet your objective following the training?

One method is to inquire about the pre- and post-training evaluation. This is crucial in understanding the necessity of training. While there are no specific questions, you can consider asking the following:

1. How do you assess the effectiveness of your training?
2. How do you evaluate the participants?
3. How do you structure your content?
4. What training methods do you typically employ?

I have provided these questions based on the issue you raised. If you have any further queries, please feel free to email or call me.

Regards,
Gabriel
