I am designing an appraisal system for a small manufacturing firm. The basic objective of the system is to increase the efficiency of the plant by enhancing worker efficiency. Based on the appraisal, we are also planning to give performance bonuses to motivate increased productivity.
We are planning in the following ways:
1. Work study
2. Preparation of detailed job descriptions (JD)
3. Establishing standard production rates
4. Identifying quantitative and qualitative parameters to be included in the appraisal
5. Linking ratings to performance bonuses
This is just an overview. Please provide me with your suggestions. I need guidance.
