Aspiring Lecturer Seeking Guidance: How Do I Start Preparing for the UGC NET Exam?

Hi everybody,

I am an HR final year student and want to appear in the UGC NET exam, but I am totally blank about the whole thing. I want to become a lecturer. Can anybody help me out?

Hello. NET is conducted twice every year in June and December. For more details, visit www.ugc.ac.in.

The exam is conducted twice a year.

The exam question scheme is as follows:

Paper 1: 50 objective questions, 2 marks each

Paper 2: 50 objective questions, 2 marks each (your subject)

Paper 3:
- 20 questions, 5 marks each
- 5 questions, 12 marks each
- 1 question, 40 marks

Time Duration for Paper 1 & Paper 2 = 2.30 hrs

Paper 3 = 2.30 hrs
