Dear Friends,

I am sharing a very good PPT that I received from my friend on Management Lessons to be learned from the Great Indian Epic "Mahabharata". It's more about Planning & Execution.

Hope you will like it.

Best wishes, Gayathri :)

Dear Gayathri,

It is good that you received a very good PPT from your friend. I guess, he must have downloaded it from this site itself!

In fact, it was a much-appreciated popular PPT; even my compliments are there in one of the posts. Before posting this PPT, did you check this site to see if it has been posted before?

Kindly follow the "posting guidelines" of this site when you post (or rather dump) your next PPT received from a friend.

Here I am appending a few links to the earlier postings of the same PPT under different titles in CiteHR:

The above references are only illustrative and not exhaustive.

Although one may keep arguing that it is good to keep sharing and disseminating knowledge, most will agree that it accounts for greater knowledge if we keep learning new things rather than spending time downloading and watching the same 'good' PPT over and over again ad nauseam.

Regards.

Dear Gayathri,

I appreciate your enthusiasm and accept your explanation. You are indeed new to the forum, having joined in August 2009, and I welcome you. Please keep on posting new materials created or authored by you; and when posting material from others, do acknowledge or refer to the source.

Warm regards.

Check out where Sikhandi lies in the ppt. I believe he should be part of the Kauravas and not the Pandavas. Is that true?

Dear Rajkumar,

Do you know "Ramayan" and "Mahabharat," said to have happened over 3000 years ago, are still recited repeatedly in temples during festival times? Does this mean that not all listeners of this discourse are familiar with these epics beforehand? It is essential to highlight good things repeatedly to maintain control over the mind.

Furthermore, most new users tend to read only the current threads and may not search for these topics. It is important to regularly teach good things as most people may not naturally seek out positive content on their own. It seems unnecessary to spend time searching through all the threads on this topic to criticize a newcomer. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please refrain from discouraging such interactions in the future.

Hi Gayathri,

Great job on your post. Please continue sharing your thoughts without limits on whether they have been posted before or not. Keep up the good work, and best of luck. This thread could benefit many new users and promote a sense of team spirit.

Thank you.

Dear Rajkumar,

I've been active just a week now on this site. I've already seen you being a CRITIC twice for members who have REPOSTED certain items in the last 2 days. Please understand, it helps new active members who haven't read previous posts.
I'm not being harsh in my above words. I'm just requesting you to be 'Less Critical' of others. So please spare the member who reposts certain items. Alternatively, as the moderator suggests, jot him a one-liner private message and inform him. Probably the next time he'll check before he posts an item.

Peace be with you and have a nice day.

No, dear friend. Your "belief" needs to be amended. Shikhandi was the arch-enemy of Bhishma, and she took birth as Shikhandi only to avenge the insult of her father, sisters, and herself in her previous birth. Shikhandi was always against Bhishma and the Kauravas; she was a "born" ally of the Pandavas.

Warm regards.
