NGO a very attractive but most misused term particularly when we see to some in depth....some people start or join an ngo with fair motive to spare and utilize their resources for the deprived or for a cause but soon they start seeing what is the benefit to them... so a time to introspect within our selves how committed we are to remain selfless..it is a big tragedy that selflessness has become a rare thing...to be realistic we must believe that every human being is a selfish person what ever relationship we are living.. no doubt degree of selfish ness differs... so whether industry or any thing else we must try not to cheat ourselves because if we try to cheat any one else.. time will tell whether we will be successful in the long run or not but be assured that the moment we start to act against any one with selfish motive..we start harming our selves..just see an account mr. x thought for drafting a vague complaint against his companion y with motive of advancing in promotion. He thought for few minutes then planned for few days then got it typed from market and then posted it... just see how much resources x is using his own time,mind,money,etc.. now the time will tell whether y is put to loss but certainly x has lost immediately without any surety about success in his goals.. x had lost immediately in terms of opportunity cost of using his resources in constructive activities or works... there is risk of leakage of his planning and he has lost a friend also and he may be fired upon also ....... so where ever we are ,in an ngo or other places we must try to be honest to ourselves ... meharwan singh narang
