Understanding Subsistence Allowance: ESI, EPF Contributions, and Suspension Protocols?

Dear all,

I have a doubt regarding the payment of subsistence allowance to a workman.
1. Whether ESI & EPF contributions will be added to the Subsistence Allowance?
2. If a workman is under suspension, can we ask him to come and sign regularly?

If that workman comes under the EPF & ESI limit, you have to deduct PF & ESI. The workman's signature is not required.
