Dear Sajjad,
You have taken the first baby steps towards looking at innovative matters. In the presentation, you noted what your expectations are from the boss or the criteria against which assessment would be done. This is an important step. However, you have stopped short of analyzing your boss and how he fares. It would be fruitful if you went through the celebrated book of Ricardo Semler - "Maverick." In the book, he discusses how, in his company, subordinates are regularly encouraged to rate the performance of their boss, and the findings are put up on the canteen notice boards or other public places. The bosses who consistently receive poor ratings for three years are encouraged to leave.
The boss, or rather the leader's, job is very critical. He can make or break the team depending on his approach. Good creative thoughts. Keep it up.
Regards, Rationalraj
