How Do IT Companies in India Use Retention Bonuses to Keep Key Employees?

We are exploring options for introducing a retention bonus framework to retain key employees. My company is in the IT services sector, with around 200+ employees in India.

Any insights on the prevailing practices in the industry regarding this matter would be highly welcome and greatly appreciated. I would greatly appreciate your prompt response.
