Hello Sruthi ,
Greetings!! There is no procedure as such .You should have extra ordinary interpersonal skills and people management skills . Adding to it you should have got practical experience in handling people of various types . To touch up you have to cultivate habits of interacting with more people and do social networking to know about people's behaviour just as you will do research about consumer behaviour if you are a marketing person .
Alternatively , If you have a passion towards softskills , you can refer many articles and management principles given by famous authors . But unfortunately , that wouldnt help you out much . As i already said you should have practical experience . So with the readings and your experience , you can groom yourself accordingly .
Few tips to explore the trainer in yourself..
1) Address issues of people in a small group and check out how well you were able to solve their issues .. (coz in softskills training .. you need to show results post training)
2) Have always a polite smile and try to understand each persons behaviour and throw light on feedbacks accordingly
3) You can attend many training workshops conducted by other trainers and get to know how well they organise the event
4) You can always study the book by dan "How to win and influence people"
If you need more details and other stuffs related to softskills , please do drop a mail to [Login to view] .. I hope i have solved your query..
regards,
Trainer
