Is There a Grace Period for Monthly PF Deposits? Seeking Clarification

Hi, Can anybody clarify for me if there is any grace period for monthly PF deposits?

Hi,

There is no concept of grace period in the payment of contributions. If you fail to pay on time, you will incur a fine. Normally, the fine for delayed payment ranges from one month to six months. After that period, the delay accumulates.

If you wish to seek a concession of time for your delayed payments after six months, you must apply to the Regional PF Commissioner and pay accordingly.

PF monthly deposit last date is the 15th of every month. The grace period is only 3 days as per the EPF Act of 1952.
