Exploring Leadership Styles: Seeking Questionnaire Examples for School Leaders

Hi, I'm doing a thesis on leadership styles. I want to investigate the differences between male and female leadership styles. My focus would be leaders in school (school heads/principals). Does anybody have an example of a questionnaire to determine leadership styles? Thank you.

It will be difficult to find a thesis on the web; however, if you had looked at the site suggested, you would have found an article from which you could deduce a questionnaire.

Khothilda, I think you didn't see the website given by us properly. There is a sample questionnaire on leadership styles. Convert that questionnaire as per your requirements.

Okay, thank you. This is my first time working on a thesis, so it's quite challenging for me. My lecturer requires me to find an existing questionnaire that has been used by others, and it must be valid and reliable. That's why I can't simply choose any questionnaire from the internet. I will try again. Thank you.

I never asked you to find any questionnaire. When people publish articles in scholarly journals, they usually state whether the questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability. However, a questionnaire that has been validated in the USA or UK may not be valid for Indian conditions, and you will have to subject the same to tests.

May I kindly know where you are doing your research?
