IT Companies in Bangalore Exempt from Labor Laws: What Does This Mean for HR?

Hi Folks.

As mentioned in the Times of India dated 1/9/09, Bangalore, IT companies have been exempted from labor laws for 2 years. I am sure this is good news for the IT/ITES industries. Now, HR professionals in the IT sector do not need to worry about the labor department and can be trouble-free from labor inspectors.
