What Are the Key Responsibilities of a Team Lead Across Different Processes?

Hi All,

Once again, I am back! Friends, please tell me what the KRAs (Key Responsibility Areas) of a Team Lead are in a particular process, regardless of the functionality of the process. Also, if you could provide me with any basic (or easy) tips to meet them, that would be appreciated. 😕

Regards,
shivarsh
I may be quite late, but KRA stands for Key Result Area, or you may also say KPA for Key Performance Area. The team leader must have his job descriptions. On the basis of that, you can list his KPA and KPIs.

According to me, KRA stands for Key Responsibility Areas and KPA stands for Key Performance Areas.

Here is my two cents:

- Productivity & Quality output
- Attrition
- Team motivation, attitude, general discipline

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask.

Hi,

In general, the KRAs of a Team Lead are:

1. Increasing Productivity (Output/Input) of the team
2. Improving the Quality of team output
3. Talent management (Retaining Talent)
4. Conflict management
5. Improving the accuracy of the review mechanism
6. Knowledge sharing (Training & Development of team members)

All the best.

Hi All,

Thanks to all who have responded. Currently, in my process, I have the following KRAs:

1. Process Productivity Management
2. Process Quality Management
3. People Management
4. Client Management
5. Feedback & Reporting
6. Value Addition

I just want to confirm if these are standard KRAs for a Team Leader in a company/process.

Attrition

I have been promoted as a TL and will be handling a team of 15 CSEs.
