Beware of This Colleague: Help Us Find Shalinder Verma Before He Strikes Again

mohit.ch
Hi Friends,

Please see this attachment, and if you get to know about this chap, please do inform me about him. His name is Shalinder Verma, and he was working as an Assistant Manager for the past two months with a BPO in Gurgaon. He came from HP Bangalore. He cheated on a few employees and then went absconding. We have tried tracing him, but he changes his address every time.

He will generally ask you to lend him some money and request your credit card details. He will try to see the number on your credit card. He is smart and clever in this and will misuse your card later on.

He has cheated many people and was very successful. Now he is absconding, changing his address and phone numbers. He continues to try for new jobs to deceive more people.

We have somehow obtained his picture and a photocopy of his passport to circulate, so he does not deceive others.

If anybody receives his resume or knows where he is working, please inform me; it's urgent. He might join another organization and continue with the same habits.

Please help me in locating him. Thanks for your support.

Thanks & Regards,

MOHIT

Mohit, it's good that you are circulating the information about this fraudulent individual, but you can always lodge an FIR at the police station.

Secondly, I believe everyone is aware of the criticality and sensitivity of a credit card. So, why should we disclose the number to anyone in the first place, not even to our good friends? We should act wisely instead of regretting it later on.

Hi friends,

The most important thing is the numbers printed on the back side of the card, specifically the last 3 digits. Please never let anybody know them. As far as this incident is concerned, the individual literally begged, stating that his grandmother was hospitalized due to a severe heart attack. I never imagined that someone standing with me could be so clever to notice the reverse numbers and potentially remember them. It was my mistake entirely, but I don't want anyone else to fall victim to such individuals. In the corporate world, some people, for just a few thousand, forget their ethics.
