Hi all,
Here is a little story highlighting the difference between a hard worker and a smart worker:
In a forest, wood cutting work was underway. Due to the urgent nature of the work, several bodybuilders were employed. The owner set a target for each worker to cut down 8 trees in 9 hours with a 1-hour break. However, after 9 hours, the bodybuilders could only manage to cut down 7 trees. Surprisingly, a lean man was able to cut down 8 trees within the same timeframe. Intrigued, the others approached the lean man and asked, "You look very lean and weak in physical strength, so how were you able to cut down 8 trees in 9 hours?" He simply smiled and inquired how long it would take them to cut down one tree. They responded, "It will take exactly one hour." The lean man then revealed that for him, cutting down one tree only required 45 minutes. This revelation left everyone astonished, prompting them to ask for his secret. He replied, "I sharpen my axe every time after cutting down 1 tree; this is my secret to achieving the target."
The bodybuilders were hard workers, but they failed to meet the target because they solely relied on hard work.
On the other hand, the lean man was a smart worker. Despite his physical weakness, he successfully completed his task by using his intellect while working.
Hope this story proves to be insightful.
Kind regards, [Your Name]
