Whether persons working as marketing executives in private sector banks in Kerala drawing compensation more than Rs.7000/ comes under Minimum Wages Act:?:

As Private banks come under Commercial Establishments, they fall with in the preview of Minimum Wages Act, any way pl. see to the schedules given to Minimum wages covered at Kerla by the govt. of kerla state if the private banks do fall under the schedules of Minimum wages are not.

If Banks are covered under Minimum wages act, than your sales person is covered with minimum wages act and you got make his payments as per minimum wages as minimum and if paid more than the minimum wages there is no objection to any authority in law.

Whether an employee is monthly rated, daily rated (or yearly rated) it does not matter; what matters is whether he is getting minimum wages (or more) or not ???
Why do you think that you can give less than the minimum wages; if you are paying monthly wages ??
