indrani_nagaraj
Hi friends,

We are planning to apply for ISO certification. Ours is a middle-level manufacturing company. Could anyone please help us by providing information on the rules and regulations that need to be maintained in the organization, particularly in areas like HR, production, quality, etc.?

Regards,
Indrani :-)

Dear friend,

First, let's clarify which ISO certificate your company is pursuing. Whether it is ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, or SA 8000. Each of these certifications pertains to different areas and requires specific activities related to quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and social accountability.

Dear Friend,

First, you need to establish objectives for the policy you are going to implement ISO Standards for. Each procedure has a different code of conduct within the standards. Start by setting objectives and then contact your ISO consultant.

I am going to open a school in Haryana. The building is currently under construction and is expected to be ready in January 2010. The school will commence operations in the 2010-11 session. I am interested in obtaining an ISO 9001:2008 certification for my organization. Can you please suggest the cost and procedure for obtaining the certification?

Dear Mr. Satish,

As you mentioned that you are going to open a new school, I would like to clarify that for any organization seeking ISO certification, it is necessary for the organization, school, or any other entity to have been operational for at least three years before they can apply for the certification.

Thank you.
