Prof.Tax Slab Jharkhand State

There is no professional tax for Jharkhand. You need be so confused and worried :)

Please let me know professional tax applicable in jharkhand or not if not please provide notification ,becouse i have been working a mumbai best company and ever month company deduct p tax from my salary ,so please sujjest or provide .

Dear Debasish,
As told earlier, there is no PT for Jharkandh. There is no notification either because the Govt. has not implemented it. Because, you work for a mumbai based company, and the payroll is that of Mumbai, the company might be deducting PT based on Maharahstra slab. Pls inform your HR department that PT is not dedcutable for employees based in Jharkandh, or even any of the northern states.
