if one person talks to himself it is not communication at at all. It is called soliloquy. For communication a minimum of two persons are required. I do hope this would answer your doubt.

Communication is simply defined as "the response you get".Whatever you communicate elicits a response as per the communiation. so whether this to a person or persons, most importannt is what you communicate. For making this effective, communicator should have absolute sensual acuity (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory & Gustatory).
