Regarding PF Withdrwal - Pf Withdrawal [Thread 189200]

Hi,
Is there any possibility to track the process of withdrawing the PF. I submitted PF withdrawl forms to my employer 45 days ago. As per the instructions regarding the same i tried to track in www.epfindia.com, but it is asking for the "Establishment Code". What exactly it is ? Please let me know how to track in online of the withdrawl status....

Mr. Sunil,
You may not get the status of your PF with drawal on-line. Hence i would advice you to enquire (in person) about the status in the PFO where you have submitted the form. As per the PF recent amendment, with drawal process may take 90 days to credit in your bank A/c.

"Establishment Code" this means registered number of your company with PF authorities.
with the establishment code your (membership) number.

Please check your PF statement wherein you will find the est. code. But the EPFO does not maintain the status of your claim properly online. It is an eye wash. There is no time limit of settling the amount by PF authorities but do so as per their whims & fancies. I am also the one affected and unable to get the claim settled for more than 150 days. All the correspondence with them are futile. We hv to go personally and grease their palm to get it done.
