How Can I Track My PF Withdrawal Status Online Without the Establishment Code?

Is there any possibility to track the process of withdrawing the PF? I submitted PF withdrawal forms to my employer 45 days ago. As per the instructions regarding the same, I tried to track on www.epfindia.com, but it is asking for the "Establishment Code." What exactly is it? Please let me know how to track the online status of the withdrawal.

Mr. Sunil,

You may not get the status of your PF withdrawal online. Hence, I would advise you to inquire (in person) about the status at the PF office where you have submitted the form. As per the recent PF amendment, the withdrawal process may take 90 days to credit to your bank account.

"Establishment Code" means the registered number of your company with PF authorities. With the establishment code, you have your membership number.

Please check your PF statement wherein you will find the estimated code. However, the EPFO does not maintain the status of your claim properly online. It is merely an eyewash. There is no time limit for settling the amount by PF authorities, but they do so according to their whims and fancies. I am also affected and have been unable to get the claim settled for more than 150 days. All correspondence with them has been futile. We have to go personally and grease their palm to get it done.
