Crafting Effective Job Descriptions: How to Include Interdepartmental Roles and Responsibilities

I am in the process of preparing JDs for various positions in my organization. I request you to guide me on what all things should be included in a JD. How can I reflect the interdepartmental responsibilities in a JD where one action would be performed by two or more departments or persons? I would be grateful if someone could share a format on how to prepare a JD.
