You may be aware that Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is one of the largest Social Security Organisations in the world that provides comprehensive social security to more than Forty Million employees and their family members in India. EPFO is consistently taking efforts to improve the service delivery to its members. To achieve this goal, we are initiating steps to introduce ‘eRAPS” (EPFO Receipts and Payments Software) a comprehensive computerisation project developed with a pragmatic approach. In this regard, EPFO has to build up the member profile information (Form 2 Data) so that the details of members, their family and nominee particulars are readily available in the system. This will enable early settlement of claims including pension cases and also facilitate the organisation in areas like actuarial valuation. A software has been developed to capture the employee details and hosted in the home page of our Official Websites EPFO and www.epfochennai.tn.nic.in under the title “Attention Employers: Software for submission of Employee details to EPFO”.
