Can anyone share a format or any training material on how to conduct a safety audit in industries?

To conduct a safety audit in a factory, the cost would be $25,000 at the National Safety Council. If you choose to do it yourself for free, can you accurately assess the quality of the audit on your own?

If you want to conduct an external safety audit by an agency, it would be better for you to conduct the safety audit through RLI (Regional Labour Institute) / CLI (Central Labour Institute), which is a part of the Government of India and is also cheaper.

For further details, please refer to ISO 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Services) standard. You can procure the standard from your local BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) office.
