Confused About LWF Payment Deadlines in Andhra Pradesh? Let's Clarify the Dates Together

Dear Seniors,

When is the last date to pay LWF (Labour Welfare Fund) payment to the Labour department? When I contacted the labour department, they told me it is the 1st of November 2006. The actual period is from January 1st to December 31st.

If the last date is indeed December 31st, 2006, then in which month can we deduct the employees' shares from their salaries?

As per the AP Act, the license fee renewal needs to be done before 30th December. However, for the contribution payment, the period of payment is up to December salary (i.e., it has to be deducted in December salary), and the remittance should be before January 30th. To the best of my knowledge, there is no notification preponing the date.
