I need a Excel database template for employees from which i can find a specific employee data in a given format. Can any body help me :?:

I have a large database of employees in excel from which i have to calculate number of days he worked, overtime, Leave, Absent etc on a given Timecard format. It's time consuming to print one by one all the data on a specific tiem card. I just need the database in which i can retrieve data on given time card format just by entering employee's badge number. In this regard i shall be really very thankful to you.

Got your point (to some extent)... if you can provide me with ur database (with few records only.... may b dummy records - with all coloumns in ur database)... along with the information you require... then i can send you the final compiled sheet... u just have to add ur data in that sheet.. and on second sheet.. jst enter employee code of anyone and required information will automatically b there..... u can send it on my e-mail id at...>

me again. I have created a dummy file for you with some Dummy data(on first sheet) and two examples sheets. Check this out and let me know which one you require actually and also let me know if any other thing you want to include (may be some calculations.... etc..)

This format is Ok, what i believe that you require information on this format (the information will be extracted from the base/master database). But, how can i create a database for you. You have to give me the database and i can incorporate the required information from that database into this format.

Please read the file carefully which i had forwarded you. In that file the first sheet is of 'Dummy Data'....... that is what i want from you.... in second or third sheet there are formats on which data is to be extracted. So, now i got your format (on which information is TO BE extracted), i would be requiring the database. May be, use my excel sheet and put some of your data (with all required fields) in that and i will create the information required as per your format. Once this is done you can put any number of records in you DATABASE and that information will automatically be extracted in the format (next sheet), just by typing the employee id.

If still any doubts, please feel free to ask.

Attached herewith is the dummy database for which you have asked for, please feel free to ask anything you may require for setting up formulas / links. Mostly i will need calculations like, work centre, salary, Month, Badge No, name, Position, Regular Hours, Excess overtime, Rest days, Absent, Leave without pay etc. you can find these titles on the attachment which i sent you earlier.
