Can anybody guide us about HR audit, i.e., how to conduct it, what areas need to be covered, are there any audit agencies available, and any other information?

Hi Ravi,

HR audit can be done by preparing a checklist to ensure all procedures are followed according to the checklist.

# Recruitment
- Ensure positions are closed within the specified timeline (<30 days or more).
- Conduct reference checks.
- Verify completion of pre-employment medical checks.
- Confirm all necessary documents are collected.
- Check if PF, gratuity, superannuation, etc., forms are filled at the time of joining.

You can create similar checklists for other functions such as training, induction, manpower, appraisal, etc.
