I am attaching an Excel sheet containing the revised rates of professional tax chargeable by the companies under the jurisdiction of the Chennai Corporation, effective from 01/10/2008 as per Resolution No. 205/2009 dated 22.07.2009. This information is intended for the use of my fellow HR friends.

As advised by the HR team in our organization, the professional tax for individuals has been increased by 20-25% for the Chennai sector. Could you please provide the slab calculations for my reference?
