I read with great interest and appreciation the piece posted by Daniel. It is one's belief in God and His benign presence amidst us that makes us believe in Him. I have always been a very firm believer in Him. I can say that it is my belief in Him that has made me who I am today. I believe that the knowledge which ostensibly carries you through your job responsibilities or your own business would not be there if His blessing was not with you. You have worked hard to acquire that knowledge, which has enabled you to be successful in life. Think of it this way: a laborer or a farmhand works much harder, but are they as successful as you or rather, as we have been? Your work has been channeled by His benign presence or His blessing.

That is how I see His presence among us. God alone will not make your life a success. He can channelize your energies, He will help you in that, but ultimately, it is your indomitable spirit of hard work and your quest for knowledge that shall make you successful.

Thank you so much for sharing those beautiful verses. All those verses were learned during my childhood in Sunday School, and they are part of me even today. I know these assurances of God will take me through all my life, not forgetting His Tender Care (Psalm 23:1-6).
