Dear All,
I have recently joined this community. Must say its a great help for HR Professionals.
I would welcome your suggestions & ideas on less expensive HR Events/ Practices which can be implemented in a software company else Birthday and marriage celebrations,Long service awards,Festival celebrations/ organizing traditional days, In house Refresher programs for employees, Team building trips

Hi Binz,
You can go with following events.
1. Summmer camp for a week (In house & out door)- Personality development program (30% theory & 70% games), OBT for a day.
2. Best / worst cubicle for the month...
3. Traditional day - Traditional dress, Traditional supper & end with small traditional music show.
4. Skit competition for eliminating NON VALUE ADDED Activities & PROCESS Improvement...
hmmmm will get u few more......keep rockin....

Take a small trip to nearby area
team building
arrange some tricky games ,let introduce each other ,
in middle term start trainning agenda , knowledge sharing
visiting place dosent mattars,
but learning trough fun for employee is very easy for hr & employee both.

Employee birthday celebration employee recognition programme etc.
we just done employee birthday celebration in our office.

1.You Must also have in house award celeberation meaning spot awards should be given to an emplyeee by the way of certifiaction for which the emplyee is worked hard for the company or gained some profit for the company ,which is not at all expensive which cost you only paper and printing content you call emplyees name on PA systems surprsingly and provide him the spot award by the way of certificate by head of the company.....
2.In house Deabtae compedition or Pj compedition which can be entertainment for emplyees .....

You can arrange for following events.
1. Weekend physical games (friday eve), one game a week.
2. Knowledge sharing sesseions ( one per week)
3. Can create HR Clinic - whr you cud create stress buster games, provide couseling on personal and personal problems.
4. Talent of the year - Fix up some an exclusive day, whr u cud stage the talented people, burst part papers n end up wit gud dinner....
