The Thousand Pillar Temple is a beautiful star-shaped structure with several shrines and lingams. Inside the temple, there are three shrines called the Trikutalayam, dedicated to Lord Shiva, Vishnu, and Surya. The Thousand Pillar Temple of Hyderabad is surrounded by a large garden where many small lingam shrines can be seen. Additionally, you can admire the 1000 richly carved pillars with an impressive Nandi bull in the thousand-pillared temple. The Nandi bull was carved out of a black basalt monolith polished carefully to give it a brilliant look.

The Hyderabad Thousand Pillar Temple is constructed on a platform raised to 1 meter height from the ground level. The temple is adorned with beautifully carved pillars and delicate stonework, adding charm and beauty to the Thousand Pillar Temple of Hyderabad. Hi Malini,

Unfortunately, I couldn't participate as I was on a business trip. How are you and all the other folks?

Good Morning Malini,

Yes, it was a wonderful temple, but now due to a lack of security, many sculptures have been damaged, including the Nandi too. I visited this last year. It is true, as stated in the movie "VARSHAM," that one must watch it in the rain.

Regards, Shiv
