Difference Between Induction & Orientation

Hi,
Can Any body help me in understanding the difference between Inducation & Orientation process.

Induction is a process by which a new employee is introduced to the Organisation his department and his job.
The outcome of this process is Orientation
If a new employee undergoes proper induction, he would get oriented to his new role

induction is the process by which incubent get introduced to company history, department,HOD's,pear groups,overall culture........
orientation is the step where co. defines certain rules & regulation for employment, way of communication..& expect employee to obey the same by making his/her orientation toward final goal....
Induction simply means Introduction 1 to 1
Orientation broadly means the communication by co. for expected behavior from employees.
