They even say tat if u have seen marriage in ur dream then someone is going to die
If u see death in ur dream something good is going to happen
If u see blood in ur dream then its devil
If snakes bites and blood comes out then its a very good sign
If u see money and gold in ur dream then u need to be safe

Another famous belief is tat inorder to predict the sex of a baby: Suspend a wedding band held by a piece of thread over the palm of the pregnant girl. If the ring swings in an oval or circular motion the baby will be a girl. If the ring swings in a straight line the baby will be a boy

We sneeze, cough, wipe our faces and hands in our kerchiefs. Hence, to prevent passing of germs and diseases, we must never share our handkerchiefs.......In old times since people were unaware of causes of diseases, this myth must have come to existence.:)

If that were true, I should have been dead as this has happned to me. I was drawing the curtains of the living room and yo, A lizard jumbed on my head and then off my head ran under the sofa. I had a bath after that but you see I am still alive after 13 years!!

Food is not cooked in a house where death has occurred.This belief probably results from the fact that when a death occurs in a family, the relatives of the deceased are , and have neither the desire nor the time to cook. This practice also reinforces the sense of community at times of trouble.
