Creating an Induction Manual: What Should Be Included from HR and Other Departments?

Hi all,

I need to prepare an Induction manual for my organization. Could anyone tell me what all should be included? Should it just be an HR manual, or should critical inputs/policies from other departments such as Finance/Network security also be there? Any samples for reference would be great.

You can talk about your company, its rules, and policies, such as leaves, appraisals, etc. Hope this is of some help to you.

You can give a brief idea of your company's business in the Induction manual. Also, mention the functions of all departments, provide a brief overview of the organization's hierarchy, rules and regulations, organizational ethics, and values. Don't forget to include information about the appraisal process, salary revision policy, leave policy, attendance policy, and any mobile policies that your organization may have.
