Hello Sai Prashad,
Thank you for your valuable information, Sir. So, I decided to gain experience along with SAP training on weekends. Life is so fast today, and after leaving college, I am missing my studies. That's the reason I asked, "Can't I do this course before getting a job?" But I understood that with experience in core HR, I can better understand today's scenario of this course. ERP is just a database that records the information of all employees right from the beginning: recruitment, appraisals, promotions, compensation details, etc.
One more thing I want to ask you is, why do freshers of MBA (HR) generally get jobs in recruitment only? Why not in compensation? I did my 2 months of summer training in compensation and benefits survey, so I am looking for a job in this field itself. I know both are parts of HR, but it's just a query that I want to clear up, as I generally receive calls for recruitment profiles only.
Regards,
Monica
Dear Monica,
Good Morning,
Who said that you don't get a job in core HR?
Training for 2 months will not give you great experience. Firstly, start your career in any of the core HR areas, even if it is time office management. Gain an overall experience in all the core components, be thorough in Labour Laws, delve into salary calculation, allowances, and deductions, etc. Participate in training programs you conduct training programs.
Then, you can shift to your interested side of HR.
I do suggest you, once again, don't go for SAP on a part-time basis.
Regards,
Sai
