Understanding P.Tax in Delhi: Are There Monthly Slabs for Incomes Around Rs. 20,000?

Can anybody explain about the P.Tax in Delhi? What are the slabs of P.Tax for monthly basis?

In our company, for Delhi location people, we are not paying P.Tax, as our accounts say that there is no P.Tax for an average monthly income of Rs. 20,000/- per month.

Please provide me the details.

As far as my knowledge goes, Professional Tax is not applicable in Delhi. It is only applicable in a few states of India. These states include Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.
