How Can I Write a Memo About Reducing Leaves and Sunday Work for a Project Deadline?

sojuloyola@yahoo.com
Dear Friends,

Without any formality, I am seeking help for the issue below. I posted this in the HR area but did not receive a single response. You all are my closest friends, so I ask for your assistance.

I need to prepare a memo concerning the reduction of leaves and the requirement to work on Sundays for our employees. This regulation will only be in effect for this month to ensure the completion of our ongoing project, which is currently in its final stages.

Please provide me with tips or key points that I can include in the memo. This memo is crucial for our company given the current situation.

I humbly request all of you to contribute your valuable and positive input. Any thoughts against this memo, please excuse.

I eagerly await your responses.

Thanks,
Soju

Soju, please prepare a rough memo and post that here so that it will be easy for us to make any necessary corrections, additions, or deletions.

As you know, we are under a tight schedule to meet our "projectname" deadline, which unfortunately, has been delayed significantly. Without your contribution, I'm afraid we will not succeed in completing this project. I am sorry to have to inform you of the below decision.

Hereby cutting all the permitted leaves. Sunday would be a working day.

The above decision is valid until the successful launch of the website.

Above is the memo I prepared.

Software engineers cannot prepare a memo? Does it mean HR professionals will not know how to use a computer? What are you saying?

Greetings,

We are all here for the same goal: to contribute to the growth of the organization! We are under a tight schedule to meet our "projectname" deadline, which unfortunately has been delayed significantly. Your contribution is valuable for the success of completing this respective project. I am glad to inform you regarding the below initiatives by the management:

1. The employees would be involved in utilizing all permitted leaves.
2. Sunday would be a working day.

The above decision is valid until the successful launch of the website. The memo I have prepared is attached.

Could you please share more detailed information? The two points you have mentioned sound like rules, and no one will like rules. If employees work on Sunday, what benefits will they receive? Any compensatory time off? Any gifts? Can you please explain?

Regards,
Soja

Hi Soju, I have made some modifications and highlighted them in red color. Rightly said, Nithya, it seems to be like rules, and no one likes rules. Please check the format and let me know if that's okay.
