Nervous About Tomorrow's IT Recruiter Interview: What Questions Should I Expect?

achin.sharma1
Dear Seniors,

Please help me, as tomorrow is my interview in a very good IT company for the position of Technical Recruiter. I am looking for what questions they would ask, as I am currently working as a Technical Recruiter in an IT consultancy. Although I have given interviews in many IT companies, I have not been able to clear them, and I am unsure of the reasons for rejection despite doing my best in the interviews. I am sharing some questions that I have prepared for the interview:

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Describe your current job.
3. Why are you looking for a change? (I always feel nervous answering this question)
4. What are your goals? (What would be the perfect answer for this question?)
5. What are your strengths?
6. What are your weaknesses? (Why do HR professionals ask this question? Why would a person disclose their weaknesses, and if they do, wouldn't they be trapped by their answer?)

Please suggest any additional questions apart from these, and kindly reply promptly as I need to prepare for them as well.

Hi Achin,

As you are a Technical Recruiter, they will ask you questions regarding the skills on which you are working (recruiting). Prepare yourself for that as well.

All the Best!
