Navigating Professional Tax: Do We Need to Register in Each State for Compliance?

Dear Friends,

We have our corporate office in Gurgaon, and we have branches in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore. Now I want to know, there is no professional tax in Haryana but in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Do we need to register ourselves in these states for professional tax and pay the tax, or is it not necessary?
