Importance of Virginity

Should a person not lose his/her virginity before marriage? What do you have to say about it, buddies? You can pick up a point from the ones given below and elaborate:

1. A person should be physical only with his/her life partner.
2. There is nothing wrong with indulging with one (bf/gf).
3. As the girlfriends' / boyfriends' change fast these days, one can be physical with all the girlfriends / boyfriends he/she comes across.
4. There is no harm in being physical with anyone for satisfaction as satisfaction is prime.

Is pre-marital sex and involvement with more than one not such a big deal these days, or do you think it goes against ethics and is cheating on your future partner? Some may also be the kind who think it may be wrong for females but not for males. Please shed light on this topic and give your real thoughts here. No need to hesitate.

Thank you, all.

According to me virginity is Very important….

This Is one of the very important topic for young Generation...

We are getting increasingly westernized and therefore, increasingly, promiscuous .But I think virginity before marriage is still important for many Indians. It depends on a person's upbringing and his exposure to different cultures. But it's not something we can control. Given a choice, I would make sure people abstain from sex before marriage.

Hymenoplasty (It's a form of plastic Surgery) is just another way of telling a lie. So I think it is a bad idea.

Most youngsters are confused and may not understand the importance of virginity today. At the end of the day, it's a personal choice. To preserve virginity or not is a personal decision. I have no issues with people who choose to have sex before marriage.

For me, it's unethical. I feel it's very important to preserve virginity till marriage. I'd prefer if my man has no sexual history, though it isn't the most important consideration.

Great, Deepika. Good reply. I am fully agreed with you.

Why do these boys always think on a single track? I have always felt that attraction towards physical relationships plays a major role in their thought process (though all men are not alike). It is well said that keeping virginity is a personal choice. However, in the world of men, I think it's a big deal.

Anyway, I fully agree with you on this point.

Thanks,
Riya.

We have our culture and tradition. That's the reason why Indian ladies are respected in other countries as well. According to our Indian culture, a person should be physical only with his or her life partner. That's it.
