Project On Retention Strategies - Employee Retention

im working on the project retention strategies of employees... can anybody let me know how i have to apply correlation and regression as research methodology in it... please help me..its very urgent and important for me...

I can help you, like i have been doing so, provided you clearly state what you have done. Have you identified any independent and dependent vatiables and determined your hypotheses to test?

i already analysed the independent and dependent variables.... but not geeting how to move further....
what i analysed,for eg is 52 employees left due to compensation problem..23 due to lack of growth oppourtunities... i analysed all this by studying the exit forms.iam using secondary data.. please let me know how i should proceed.....

Have you analysed qualitative statements? If so, you can't apply statistical tests . Correlation and regression analysis are conducted when you have data from a quatitative survey. Please see my posts on Research Methodology (PPT slides attached).
