Struggling with PF Withdrawal After Resignation: How Can My Friend Get Help?

One of my friends resigned from his last company two years ago. A year before resigning, he filled out a PF withdrawal form provided by the company and submitted it. However, he has not received any information so far, and the previous HR managers have also left. He is unsure about what to do as he urgently needs the money. Additionally, he does not have any documents related to the PF withdrawal form, and he worries that his former company may not assist him.

Dear Sanchita,

They might not have forwarded his PF withdrawal form to RPFC. Your friend should fill up Form 19 and 10C. If he does not know how, he should take these forms and meet his previous employer. The previous employer will fill up the forms and attest the same. Then, your friend should directly deposit them with the PF office.
