Curious About the Latest Professional Tax Slabs in Karnataka? Let's Confirm Together

Hi Friends,

I want to know what the new slab for Professional Tax is in Karnataka. I have read somewhere that the Professional Tax has been changed w.e.f. 1.4.2009.

1. If the salary is ₹10,000 to ₹14,999 - Rs. 150/-
2. If the salary is ₹15,000 and above - Rs. 200/-

Mr. Ravi, you are correct. The slabs mentioned in your post are effective from FY 09-10.
